A rare break from the summer heat is expected for the Clarksville area and it could not come at a better time as the area prepares to celebrate the fourth of July. High temperatures today will be comfortable near eighty with low humidity values. For the firework celebration tonight, if you have enjoyed the heat of the past few weeks, you may need a jacket as temperatures will fall through the sixties to a low in the upper fifties tomorrow morning. The Clarksville area is expected to get another day of comfortable weather for the fourth itself as sunny skies continue for the region. High temperatures will be near eighty and for those attending fireworks celebrations on post will once again possibly need a jacket as temperatures fall through the sixties tonight to a morning low in the middle fifties. This nice weather cannot last forever though as the heat begins to increase heading into the weekend. High temperatures for the day Saturday will jump into the upper eighties and then to the nineties by Sunday. Humidity levels will also increase by the end of the weekend and into the beginning of the upcoming workweek which will cause the risk for isolated showers and thunderstorms to return by Monday.
