After another near zero beginning to the day, the winds will start to turn from the northwest to the southwest and temperatures will slowly start to moderate. Today's high will still be below normal, but will be near twenty. The temperatures will continue to increase through the week as highs will be in the middle thirties tomorrow ahead of the next system. This system will bring a few rain and snow showers to the region on Thursday with temperatures warming into the lower forties. The temperatures will continue to rise before the next weak front moves through the region on Friday. This front however will not be like the last one as highs will only drop into the forties for the weekend versus the fifty the area will see on Friday.
