Another sunny day is expected for the Clarksville area today as temperatures are expected to warm into the middle forties. The temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend, but the risk for precipitation will increase as a couple waves of energy moves through the region. The first one will be overnight tonight and may bring a few showers to the region. Skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy on Saturday with highs warming into the middle fifties. Sunday, the next wave of energy is expected to move through the region and scattered showers with the risk for thunderstorms are expected for the region. This system will bring another shot of cold air to the region to start the workweek as highs will be back in the thirties on Monday.
