Temperatures will begin to warm heading into the later part of the weekend as partly cloudy skies remain over the region. The temperatures will continue to warm into the upcoming week as the general flow heads to the north. The next system expected to move through the region will be on Monday bringing scattered showers to the region. Some of the rain may be heavy at times as an imbedded thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Temperatures for Monday are expected to be in the middle fifties and they are expected to warm into the sixties for the rest of the workweek.
