Sunny skies are expected for the Clarksville area today with temperatures warming into the forties this afternoon. The next frontal system will move through the region during the day Friday bringing a risk for scattered showers, but this system will move quickly through the area and will drop the temperatures into the thirties to begin the weekend. The chilly air will only last for one day this weekend as highs are expected to climb through the forties on Sunday and into the upper fifties to lower sixties by the beginning of the workweek.
