High pressure will remain over the Clarksville area today allowing for mostly sunny skies with temperatures rising into the fifties. The dry weather is expected to last through the day tomorrow before a system from the Gulf of Mexico moves into the region. Most of the precipitation from this system will stay to the east of the area, but a few showers cannot be ruled out for Saturday night into Sunday. This system will not change temperatures though as a strong cold front is expected to move through the region Sunday afternoon. This system will drop temperatures from the fifties over the weekend into the thirties to start the workweek with a few snow showers early Monday morning.

Friday night: Clear. Low: 30

Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds. High: 53

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Chance of precipitation 30%. Low: 38

Sunday: Scattered showers early, otherwise mostly cloudy skies. Chance of precipitation 40%. High: Lower 50s Low: Upper 20s

Monday: A few snow showers early, otherwise partly cloudy skies. Chance of precipitation 20%. High: Upper 30s Low: Upper teens
