Sunny skies are expected again for the Clarksville area today as high pressure remains over the area. Temperatures will be warmer today as highs will be in the upper forties. The high temperatures for tomorrow are expected to rise into the sixties as a southwest breeze develops over the area. This is ahead of the next system that is expected to move into the region on Friday bringing scattered showers to the region. The best chance of precipitation though will during the day Saturday when the cold front moves through the region bringing showers and thunderstorms. Some of the precipitation may be heavy at times on Saturday as it moves through. Arctic air will move into the region behind this front as high temperatures to start the workweek will be in the lower to middle forties.
