The sun will begin to break out of the clouds today as high pressure slowly moves into the region. Temperatures today will remain chilly as highs will be in the middle thirties today. Temperatures are expected to warm to start the workweek as highs will be in the upper forties on Monday. The sunny and warmer temperatures are expected to last through much of the upcoming workweek as highs will be in the middle forties Wednesday, warming into the middle to upper fifties by Friday. Looking ahead to next weekend, a strong frontal system will move through the region bringing a risk for showers and thunderstorms and temperatures falling back into the thirties by the end of next weekend.
