High pressure remains over the eastern United States and will allow for partly cloudy skies to continue to shine over the region. Temperatures are expected to continue to warm as highs will be near ninety for today. Overnight lows for tonight will cool under the partly to mostly clear skies into the lower sixties. The warmth will continue for the day Tuesday as highs will once again reach the lower nineties. A weak system will slowly move into the region Tuesday night bringing the risk for a shower or thunderstorm to the region. This risk for a shower or thunderstorm will continue through the day Wednesday as this system moves through the region. At the same time, the next disturbance will enter the region for Thursday and Friday. This disturbance is on the bottom of a small trough over the eastern United States and will have a better chance to bring showers and thunderstorms to the region. Temperatures are expected to stay warm for the end of the workweek as highs remain in the lower nineties.
