Partly cloudy skies are expected to continue to be over the Clarksville area today with a few showers and thunderstorms developing in the evening. Temperatures are expected to continue to be warm as highs will be in the lower nineties. The skies will start to clear into the day Thursday with high temperatures remaining in the middle nineties. Heading into the weekend, a southwest flow will increase the humidity over the region, allowing for isolated showers and thunderstorms to develop Friday. The risk for precipitation is expected to increase through the weekend as a cool front moves through the region on Sunday. Although this front is expected to push through the region, temperatures are still expected to be warm into next workweek as high temperatures will be in the lower nineties.
