Another sunny day is expected for the Clarksville area today as high pressure slowly begins to move to the east of the area. This will allow temperatures for today to be slightly warmer than yesterday with highs in the middle to upper eighties. The clear skies will remain over the area tonight with low temperatures dropping into the lower sixties. A few more clouds will be introduced to the area Saturday as the first of a series of weak waves move through the region. The first one will move through the region Sunday bringing a risk for showers and thunderstorms to the region. The risk for precipitation will increase for the day Monday as the next wave moves through the region. Temperatures will continue to be warm as highs will be in the upper eighties to lower nineties. Looking to the rest of the upcoming workweek, temperatures are expected to remain in the upper eighties to lower nineties with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible. With any thunderstorms that do develop, there is the risk for heavy rain.
