Cooler and drier air has filtered into the Clarksville area yesterday and is expected to continue for today as well. Skies are expected to be partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures only reaching the lower eighties. Overnight low temperatures for tonight are expected to drop and the overall low for Saturday is expected to be in the middle to upper fifties. The sunny skies are expected to last for Thursday and Friday as high pressure remains over the region. Thursday looks to remain comfortable with highs in the middle eighties, but the humidity begins to increase by Friday as well as the temperatures as highs are expected to be in the upper eighties to lower nineties. Looking ahead to the weekend, the next system is expected to move through the region bringing another round of showers and thunderstorms to the region. Temperatures for these days are also expected to be warm with highs reaching the lower nineties for each day.
