A very interesting weather pattern is expected to set up over the Clarksville area tonight and through the beginning of the workweek. A strong system is expected to slowly move into the region today bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. Some of the thunderstorms may be strong to severe with strong winds and hail as the main concern Sunday night. The showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through the day Monday with the same elevated risk for severe weather. The main threat with these storms are strong winds, hail, and the risk for tornadoes. The showers and thunderstorms are expected to come to an end by Tuesday evening, but once again, some of the thunderstorms may be strong to severe. Looking to the middle and end of the workweek, skies are expected to remain partly cloudy with a risk of showers, but temperatures will be cooler than average with highs in the lower to middle sixties.

Monday night: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the evening. Some storms may be strong to severe. Chance of precipitation 50%. Low: 57

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Some storms may be strong to severe. Chance of precipitation 40%. High: Upper 70s Low: Lower 50s

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a few showers. Chance of precipitation 20%. High: Near 70 Low: Upper 40s
