Sunny skies are expected for the Clarksville area today as high pressure moves in for the holiday weekend. Temperatures are expected to be near normal as highs will be in the lower seventies today. A few more clouds will move into the region for Easter Sunday with temperatures continuing to climb into the middle seventies. A frontal system will move through the region Monday evening bringing the risk for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures behind this system are not expected to cool drastically as highs for Tuesday will remain near average, in the lower seventies.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy. Low: 54

Monday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly in the evening. Chance of precipitation 50%. High: Upper 70s Low: Upper 50s

Tuesday: A few showers early, otherwise mostly sunny skies. Chance of precipitation 30%. High: Lower 70s Low: Upper 40s
