The City of Los Angeles is trying to eliminate school crossing guards!

Call your council members office!

We are talking about trained people working a few hours a day to assist students as young as four through busy intersections.

Our streets, our sidewalks, and alleys are in overall terrible condition and now this.

They previously closed libraries and decimated emergency services. Let the downtown people reduce their staffs and use the money to pay the crossing guards.

Better yet, the hundreds of people downtown at LAUSD headquarters who never go to schools and the employees at the local offices, should be assigned to schools as crossing guards in the morning and after school. Maybe then they will have some value to us.
