Winter Park Resort reports today that ski patrol dropped the ropes on its extreme territory, The Cirque. With almost three feet of snow in the past week and ski patrol’s diligent work to stabilize the area, The Cirque was able to open today.
The opening of The Cirque also means first chance to check out The Cirque Sled, which provides easier access to various drop-in points along The Cirque’s ridge. Now, all seven of Winter Park Resort’s territories – Winter Park, Mary Jane, Vasquez Ridge, Parsenn Bowl, The Cirque, Eagle Wind and the Terrain Park – are now open.
Also today, Winter Park announced a 77-hour Flash Sale: with the new purchase of a night of lodging (rates beginning at $118), you get two free lift tickets that can be used Monday through Thursday throughout the entire month of February.
The two free lift tickets per night of lodging are valid for adults or children but only new reservations are eligible. This offer ends on Friday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. For more information, go to www.winterparkresort.com/plan-your-trip/deals-and-packages.aspx
