THE CHOSEN exhibit at Detroit Artists Market attracted a very impressive turn-out at its Opening Reception on September 13th. The event brought many in the art community together. This is not a review, but those in attendance appeared to enjoy the art and the opportunity to mingle with the artists. I know I did. There were some very interesting pieces on display by the talented artists. The exhibit gives evidence that art is very much alive and thriving in the Detroit community and that we have a new breed of artists on the rise.
The event features the work of Artist/Printmaker JenClare Gawaran as well as art from up and coming artists. The chosen includes the following artists: Jennifer Belair, James Collins Jim Hittinger, Rosemarie Hughes, Steven Kuypers, Jeremy Thacker-Mann.
