The Children’s Museum of Cleveland has announced that it will be hosting its annual benefit on Friday, September 12, 2014. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the Children’s Museum that is located at 10730 Euclid Avenue in University Circle.

Honorary co-chairs for this year’s event are Fred McLeod (Cleveland Cavaliers announcer) and Beth McLeod (19 Action News Weather Team). The gala features delicious food, an open bar and a chance to tour the Children’s Museum. CMC has nurtured three generations of Greater Cleveland’s young children and families by helping them discover the world by learning through play.

Each year for the past five years, the museum has enjoyed an average of over 100,000 guests. Open seven days a week children and family members are invited to learn through a series of interactive exhibits, innovative programs and exciting events.

Among CMC’s blue ribbon partners are University Hospitals and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District who have combined with the Museum in addressing such topics as early childhood obesity and behavior sciences. The Museum has been praised as an efficient and effective organization that is able to turn on a dime, maintains a balanced budget and attracts families from all over Northeast Ohio.

The proceeds for the benefit will go toward general operating costs so that the CMC can continue to impact families in the museum and the community. To purchase tickets to the benefit, contact Samantha Lengel by phone at 216-791-7114 ext. 20 or by email at slengel@clevelandchildrensmuseum.org
