Become a meteorologist on Saturday, February 18th at The Children's Museum of Cleveland!  Learn about the 9 different types of weather from Vicki Stracensky, Emmy award-winning director and author of the children's book "Wise on Weather!"  Discover the facts behind tornados, snow, hurricanes and more during the weather demos at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm!

Voyage to Galapagos!

5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Calling all pirates and captains!  It's time to set sail on a voyage to the Galapagos Islands! Join us for an after-hours family adventure on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  Your family will work together to search for clues and find the hidden treasure on our island.  No need to barter for grub, we'll have finger food and light refreshments for all of our swashbucklers.  There will also be activity stations throughout the Museum including: map and telescope making, flag design, explorer gear, and ship building and testing.  Feel free to dress like captains or pirates and let the fun begin!

Offering a variety of hands-on, family-oriented exhibits and programming, The Children's Museum of Cleveland (CMC) is 'the' Northeast Ohio destination and resource for all young children, parents and caregivers to engage in fun, innovative, interactive play that accelerates the child's creativity, development and education.
