Just because “Fat Tuesday” falls on a school day does not mean that the children have to miss out on the Mardi Gras celebration. Bring them to the Children’s Museum of Cleveland on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a New Orleans style celebration. Listen to live jazz music, get some sugar beads and construct a Mardi Gras shaker craft (you will need this for the parade that will be happening throughout the day.

There will also be a non-traditional Mardi Gras cake at 1:00 p.m. and Princess Tiana will be appearing at the top of every hour. The event is free with paid admission or membership and while supplies last.
