The Chicago Comedy Examiner's exclusive interview with Bob Odenkirk about his Just For laughs Show

I was more than a lil geeked to talk to Bob Odenkirk, iO and Second City alum AND one half of Mr. Show with Bob and David.

Listen to my interview. I tried not to be a dork.

He talks about kid friendly comedy, Del Close, the funny of women, his lovely wife, and much more.

I did get him to confess that not only is Susan Messing funny but that she and Sad on Vacation will be special guests for his "The Not Inappropriate Show" so take your kids and go.

Here's the info:

Bob Odenkirk’s "The Not Inappropriate Show" is a special sketch comedy show with skits and bits suitable for a young audience (ages 8 and up).  The show runs like a "best-of," and features performers from the legendary comedy troupe The Groundlings and the very hip Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, plus special guests from Chicago.  Not specifically a “kid’s show,” but also “not inappropriate” for a younger audience.

It’s the first time that a family-friendly show has been included in the Just for Laughs line-up.  Finally, mom and dad can take the whole family to a comedy show and not worry about what choice phrases might be repeated by their youngsters.
