This may come as a shock to you, but Thanksgiving is two days away. If this DOES come as a shock to you, you’d better hurry on down to the 2nd Street Market on Stock-Up Wednesday and…well…stock up.
One place you won’t want to miss at the market is The Chef Case. One of the market’s newer vendors, The Chef Case offers a great selection of entrees, side dishes and desserts…including many vegetarian and vegan entrees at quite reasonable prices.
These aren’t your everyday recipes either. How about red quinoa with butternut squash? Herb seared organic salmon? Couscous with sweet potatoes? Their grilled marinated tofu made with ginger, garlic, soy, sesame oil, rice vinegar and sweet chili sauce would be just the thing for a vegan Thanksgiving dinner!
Better yet, the nice folks behind the counter will let you sample their delicious products to assist you in making your decision (sometimes this makes it more difficult as everything is delicious).
