The Charcoal Room at Santa Fe Station is known for award winning quality and service. With fresh fish daily, plus lobster tail and a great surf and turf what’s not to die for. It’s a great place to eat and drink in their elegant dining room and sample some wonderful wines from their extensive wine list.
The restaurant is tucked away in a cozy corner of the casino, reservations would be a great idea on the weekend. Quick seating is the norm here. The service is quick with attention to great wines from the sommelier. She/he will recommend a great wine with your planned meal. A nice touch rarely found anymore in Las Vegas Gourmet eateries.
Great appetizers are abound and you could hardly go wrong with any selection of one of the delights such as stuffed Portobello mushrooms, crab cakes, bacon wrapped shrimp or wrapped scallops.
One favorite at this steak house is the pan-seared rib eye, the full size filet Mignon or porter house would be a positive selection prepared precisely the way you request with medium rare the suggested route to go. As in most gourmet restaurants your dishes are a la cart so choosing the sides such as a vegetable as grilled asparagus is a tasty choice.
The service is great and attentive with a nice touch of the Chef coming out to say his greetings and ask if your meal was as expected.
