If you can't get enough of Scottish and Irish festivals then Geneva-on-the-Lake has some good news for you. You are cordially invited to attend the 26th annual Celtic Feis being held at the Old Firehouse Winery and The Landing Festival Marketplace for one day only on Saturday, August 23. Geneva-on-the-Lake is approximately a one hour drive from Cleveland.
Celtic Feis Northeast Ohio's largest Scottish and Irish Festival (more than 2000 people are expected to attend), Celtic Feis will be offering Celtic music and entertainment galore.
There will be plenty of bagpipers performing (the Veterans Memorial Pipe Band) in addition to Irish and Scottish dancers. Other performers include Windfall, Doc & Bill and Roman & Jennifer/ Dance/Statues. The music starts at noon. The Festival will also include Celtic arts & crafts and vendors selling their authentic Irish and Scottish merchandise.
There will also be a variety of Irish and Scottish foods and beverages (including Killian's Irish Red beer).
Hours for the Celtic Feis are noon - 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 23. Admission is free for all. Parking is free.
While you are at Old Firehouse Winery be sure to take a ride on their historic Erieview Park ferris wheel that was made in 1956. The ferris wheel is located on the Sunset Patio on the northeast corner of the winery. It is a ride that you won't soon forget.
