Episode 2 of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice 2012 airs Sunday night, and the teams are going medieval. Celebrity Apprentice spoilers have been a bit tough to come by so far for week 2, airing February 26, but there are some details that fans will enjoy knowing ahead of time. The men's team took the lead during the premiere episode, but can the women's team pull together and win in Episode 2?
TV Guide says that this week “The teams produce and perform a medieval-theme show for an audience, yet an insubordinate contestant and a serious injury mar the task.” During filming, Donald Trump, Jr. tweeted a picture of what his evening entailed, which showed a poster for the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament event. It seems that filming must have taken place at the Lyndhurst Castle location in New Jersey, and the site teases that the events encompass an 11th century-style castle where six knights in authentic armor compete in jousting tournament for the title of Kings Champion. Just what do the Celebrity Apprentice cast members have in store for them in this episode?
Survivor Sucks poster EllieTay has uncovered the details that indicate some of the men were dressed up in drag as maidens for their part in the competition. Celebrity Apprentice spoiler fans know that Dee Snider broke his finger during filming the show, and it happens during this episode. Snider was trying to ride a horse side-saddle when the horse bucked and Dee fell, snapping his finger. It seems that he doesn't go for medical attention immediately, but two days later when it is black-and-blue he heads to the hospital for surgery. Snider had four pins put in and was in a semi-cast for three weeks, but that didn't take him out of the competition.
Dee Snider's injury may set the men's team back, but the source sharing the details said that the women's team was such a mess that the men's team was still stronger. Does that indicate the men win the second challenge as well? Lisa Lampanelli has indicated on her Twitter page that she is the Project Manager Sunday night, and it sounds as if even she admits she is something of a tyrant. It's been spoiled already that Lisa and Victoria get into a serious tiff, so the “insubordinate contestant” seems likely to be Victoria Gotti. Early interviews indicated that Victoria had a hard time getting along with the women on her team, specifically Teresa Giudice. Apprentice spoilers on Survivor Sucks also indicate she goes storming off at some point this season, and is either fired or quits. Given the TV Guide description, it seems plausible this takes place during this week's episode.
Photos discovered by poster laughn at getclayaiken.com show the cast in an upcoming episode preparing for their challenge. In the photos it is clear that Cheryl Tiegs, Victoria Gotti and George Takei are gone, and fans know that Tiegs was fired in the premiere episode. That would seem to indicate that Victoria may well be the next to go, with George leaving next week. There is also the possibility that Victoria quits, the men go to the boardroom, and George is fired. However, if Gotti were to quit chances are Trump would nix a firing in the boardroom.
