The premiere of The Celebrity Apprentice 2012 is right around the corner, and NBC (airing on channel 12 in Scottsdale) finally confirmed the cast members last week. Now that the celebrities are available to talk to the press about the show, fans are starting to get some great intel on what to expect this season. Friday, TV Guide talked to Clay Aiken and Lisa Lampanelli, and their chat teases fans that this truly may be the best Apprentice season yet.

Some Celebrity Apprentice spoilers indicate that these two really hit it off this season, and this is immediately apparent in the interview. While Clay’s fans aren’t the least bit surprised, other Apprentice viewers may find it interesting to hear that he is said to be the guy to watch this season. Clay and Lisa said that they formed a quick bond, despite the fact that she has mocked him in her comedy act in the past.
They said that Dee Snider was a big surprise to them, as was Teresa Guidice. However, Clay teases huge drama to come from Teresa. They admitted that some of the celebrities were far dumber than they expected as well, though they won’t dish names on that front. Many have expected that the men’s team may well trounce the ladies this season, and Lisa hints that may be exactly the case. Ivanka Trump recently teased that this is the best season yet, and Donald Trump himself has pointed out that it’s the biggest cast with the most episodes ordered.
