Country music lovers and fans of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton are invited to attend a tribute concert starring world renowned impersonators Melody Knighton as Dolly Parton and Mark Hinds as Kenny Rogers.
Knighton and Hinds will perform hit singles from Rogers and Parton as well as duets including the most popular duet of all time, "Islands in the stream".
Melody Knighton toured Australia in "The Kenny and Dolly Show" and recently appeared on stage with Dolly Parton. She has performed at The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Grand Ole Opry stage, as well as a guest appearance on "Outsider's Inn "on CMT.
Back in 1995, Mark Hinds was doing a Kenny Rogers impersonator show at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas when the real Kenny Rogers came out and sang "The Gambler" and "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town."
The show is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center, located at 205 East Avenue in Cedartown.
