It was not a typical trunk show, The CCWC delivered as they present various designers. The look was “roots” and the place was Broward Center For The Performing Arts. It was an impressive displayed of great looks on the runway with upbeat music from the DJ. Actress Nidjy Sabi wore a beautiful black gown designed by one of the designers hosted the event with class, elegance and fun. She looked stunning with her hair pulled up. She connected with her audience and was a great sport. The night opened at the sound of “tambour” and a soulful voice. The super model Tico was present to assist the event.
No one failed to notice the sparkles coming from Mrs. Haiti’s International crown as she made her entrance to the show room. Ms. Nedjy Jean Charles mission is world water relief. She has picked a cause that hit close to home. She lost close family members from Cholera. She is also the owner of Curiosity Fashion Boutique in Fort Pierce. There was also one other person that honored the evening. “I am not a model and to be crowned miss Haiti Universe is an undeniable privilege” said 21 years old Miss Universe Mondiana J’Hanne Pierre.
The designers that caught our attention were:
Charlotte Curbow Healey
Kel Fashion and Design
La Belle Couture
Classy Lady Creationz
None of these wouldn’t be possible without some great sponsors such as:
LIGHT AND SOUND DESIGN
Part of the proceeds went towards G.R.A.B. Inc., a non-profit organization committed to helping at risk girls. The night was great, the vendors had items for all and the designers did not disappoint. Ms. Corhinn along with CCWC did a remarkable job displaying such great skills and talents.
