In part 5 we learned that just sitting and relaxing to a cup of tea, maybe with conversation of a friend or family member will drastically limit the stress in your day; that goes for your kids as well. Some of the other herbs you should look into are what are called the adaptogenics, taken best in capsules, they are: the ginsengs, eleuthero, schizandra, gotu kola, ashwagandha, reishi mushroom and astragalus root.
These herbal tonics have shown that they build, strengthen and balance a person’s life force or what is known as chi and central nervous system so that you can weather the storms of life better. You will have more energy, vitality and stamina and live a longer life, now what more could someone ask for? If we are going to wait for things in life to cause us serious issues before we change, then we are just asking for troubles.
Don’t wait for this to happen, make the changes you need now and you won’t have to worry with the future when things get hairy. When you actually think about it, we have become attached to the stress in our life. It makes you feel alive and if it is not there then we have already associated that with diseases all its own.
How absurd to think that we have become so attached to something that is so bad for us, so negative and degrading. But it is true, think about this, when you see someone that is never sick or that never complains and always seems to be happy and well balanced what do you think? Well if you are like most you begin to talk about that person.
Making assumptions and jumping to conclusions, they are different so they must be doing something wrong. How strange that something so wrong and unnatural like stress and everything that creates it has become so well accepted in life. Unless everyone has stress as their life THEY are the “messed up” one now, how strange.
Stress provides us with excuses and it is what we know but that is because we do not know what to do and do not understand where it has come from. Hopefully there will be some that read this study series and understand better and apply the suggestions to their lives.
