'The Case" trailer released

Director Timothy Tau's short film "The Case" will screen at the upcoming Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

A new trailer is now on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKXR8mxIMfo

"The Case" stars Cyndee San Luis, Max Phyo, Hidekun Hah, Oliver Seitz, and Robert Tasch.

Its described as a homage to the concept of "Genre" and blends different styles such as Film Noir, Sci-Fi, Spaghetti Westerns and Horror Camp, and is in many ways a tribute to the films of Ed Wood and Tim Burton's "Ed Wood" (1995).

Initially conceived as a three-minute short for the Interpretations Short Film Initiative sponsored by You Offend Me You Offend My Family (YOMYOMF), only four lines of dialogue could be used: (1) "It's not something I'd do"; (2) "Well?"; (3) "Its not what I expected"; and (4) "You sure?"

It was directed, written and produced by Tau with Cinematography/Camera/SFX/Lighting by Rick Darge and music by Kevin MacLeod.
