It was a crowd of massive porportion, it was a crowd that is very familiar with play-off excitement. However, from the beginning of the 4th pitch, as I enjoyed my infield Section 155 at Busch Stadium, I suspected trouble. Pitcher Lance Lynn of the Cardinals was all over the plate. His fast ball had more weave on it than Beyonce.
Nonetheless, the exhiliration of Busch Stadium was enough to forgive a few lopsided fast balls. The Pirates came out to set the record straight, they wanted in on all the fun that the play-offs could give.
Considering the facts; they haven't been down this road in a very long time. Since 1992, they haven't experience the postseason music the Cardinals have been dancing to since 2000. So, with a 7 to 1 victory over The Central Division Champions, the Pirates will be out for blood when the series tied at 1, moves to Pittsburgh.
There are still tickets available for Game 5 if the Cardinals have to return back home to move ahead toward the Worlds Series.
