Just in time for Valentines Day, the Candy Bin opened last Saturday in South Wilton at One Danbury Rd. The owners, Lisa Nuzzo and Michele Mancini have put together a store full of tempting candies in rows of jars for all ages. They include classic “penny candies,” lollipops, push pops, and even Pez dispensers.
For chocolate lovers, there is a whole wall of various jars of chocolate candies such as turtles and chocolate butterscotch all sold by the pound. And for Valentine’s Day they even have a bouquet of chocolate Sweetheart Roses. Many of these are shown in the accompanying slide show.
While much of their day-to-day business is a walk-in trade of parents and eager children, they have already been asked to cater corporate gift bags and they even offer to set up a candy buffet at your wedding or party, complete with gift bags for the guests to fill.
They also cater birthday parties and have already made a hit in this area as well.
The Candy Bin is open every day except Monday from 11-7, and 10-7 on Saturdays. You can peruse their services at their web site, or just drop in to be amazed at all the candies they have to tempt you! Or you can read their complete stock on their web site.
