Springtime in Florida means many things; birds start to return to their "real homes", seasonal residents begin their long drives back up north, and homeowners association and condo professionals all gather at any number of conferences to discuss legal and organizational reforms that the Florida legislature has mandated in the past year.
TOPS Software, the developer of the industry-leading TOPS Software suite for Condominium and Homeowner’s Association Management, recently announced that it would be part of a nation-wide touring conference designed to educate community management companies in ways to minimize expenses, increase revenue and therefore maximize profits. TOPS Software will be participating in this tour with two other well-known industry-leading companies Alliance Financial Services and SouthData, Inc.
The conference tour will be visiting nine cities around the country over the course of 2012. The cities include: Charlotte (2/27), Raleigh (2/28), Ft Lauderdale (3/13), Atlanta (5/22), Chicago (6/19), Phoenix (7/17), Houston (8/28), Orlando (10/16), San Diego (11/13).
The CAM (Community Association Manager) Profitability Conference program is designed for the management company executive. The agenda includes these topics:
· Where is Community Management Headed?
· How Can We Work Smarter/Better?
· Automate Repetitive Tasks
· Outsource to Save Time and Money
· Technology as an Efficiency Tool
· The Future is Mobile Data Access
· Communications
· Managing Community Officer Expectations
· Finding New Business/Marketing Your Mgmt Company

· Use Portfolio Management to Increase Profits
“The community management industry is the most challenging of all the fields of property management. I used to own a management company so I know this firsthand. Because we as a company understand the challenges faced by management companies, TOPS Software is committed to helping the community management industry. Taking part in educational programs like the CAM Profitability Conference is another way TOPS is giving back to this industry,” said Jeff Hardy, founder and President of TOPS Software. “We have been doing conferences like this for a couple years now and we know the attendees leave having learned something useful.”
The morning session will be followed by lunch with the presenters, then an afternoon session. The presenters will be available to answer questions after the event. There is a modest charge to attend the event to defray the cost of event itself.
