The Bronx return with new album 'The Bronx (IV)'

Long-running hardcore/punk band The Bronx returned today with a new studio album, The Bronx (IV) - their first hardcore/punk album in five years.

After more or less going on a break for the past few years and operating under the name Mariachi El Bronx (and releasing some albums of mariachi-themed music), they've finally returned to their roots - in a big way.

If you're curious, the music on their latest disc is blast of melodic hardcore/punk with some alternative/rock leanings - tailor made to appeal to old fans and new. You can stream the record on Spotify, or order it via the band's official site.

Last Saturday, The Bronx played a jam-packed album release party/gig at Los Globos in Los Angeles, and Grimy Goods wrote a great recap of the night.

They won't be back in Los Angeles for a while, but the band is hitting the road in support of the new record. They'll head overseas for some shows before coming back to the United States for a few more Mariachi El Bronx gigs. The dates:
