This morning in London the British Academy Film Awards nominations (BAFTAs) were announced, and "Lincoln" led all films with 13 nominations, including best film, best actor, best supporting actor, best supporting actress and best adapted screenplay. Steven Spielberg however, was left off the nominees list for best director.
"Les Miserables" and "Life Of Pi" each garnered nine nominations, while "Skyfall" secured eight.
Ben Affleck's "Argo" was singled out for seven.
The BAFTAs (or British Academy of Film and Television Awards) will be held on Sunday February 10 in London.
