‘The Bridge’ season one available today on Hulu Plus before season two begins

Today, Hulu announced that the entire thirteen episodes of “The Bridge” will air exclusively on Hulu Plus. This Peabody Award winning series stars starring Diane Kruger and Oscar nominee Demián Bichir.

The Bridge” launches the audience into the captivating, but contradictory present day worlds of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The series follows El Paso homicide Detective Sonya Cross and her Mexican counterpart, Detective Marco Ruiz of the Chihuahua State Police, as they team up to hunt a mysterious killer who appears to be using border politics to justify his actions. The hunt for the killer, of an American judge, known for her anti-immigration views, quickly turns personal and starts and ends on The Bridge of the Americas, where the characters' lives will be forever changed.” See the season one trailer here.

“The Bridge” co-stars are Ted Levine, Annabeth Gish and Thomas M. Wright, and Matthew Lillard guest stars. Gerardo Naranjo (“Miss Bala”) directed the pilot episode. Executive Producers of “The Bridge” are Shine America’s Carolyn G. Bernstein and Filmlance’s Lars Blomgren. It is distributed by Shine International. The Bridge was adapted from “Bron/Broen” (Danish: Broen; Swedish: Bron for ”The Bridge”) is a Scandinavian crime-drama television series, set on the border of Denmark and Sweden.

On July 9, the new season will begin on FX, so there is a month to catch up with the series on Hulu and Hulu Plus subscription service.
