The BRICk 550 N W Summercrest Boulevard will be the host for the City of Burleson’s yearly Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Valentines Dance on Saturday February 9 from 6-9 p.m.
A dj will be ‘spinning’ tunes from all the eras to your dancing pleasure It won’t be the only activity to choose from- there will be the grups versus kids limbo, three legged races etc. The Burleson Parks and Recreation staff will be there ready to snap pics of you and your offspring that will be e-mailed to you.
The ticket price in advance is $16 and at the door the price will rise to $25. Your mate is not the only one that appreciates Valentines Day. Make your child feel special this Valentines Day by taking them to a dance.
The BRICk will also be hosting Spring Fun Camp for your child from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 11-15 while you are at work. The cost of the camp is $115 for BRICk members and $130 for non-members and is for ages 6-12. There will be a number of activities for your child to enjoy. Group games for the social minded, arts and crafts for those with a creative spirit, swimming and rock climbing for the sports minded ones. Maybe your child will choose a variety and broaden their horizons. Camp sounds a lot more entertaining than just being at home.
