The Both play the 9:30 Club on Friday

The Both perform Friday, May 2, 2014 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. The Both is a collaboration between Aimee Mann and Ted Leo. In April the duo released their debut album and now are touring to support it. Both artists brings years of experience to the project.

Ted Leo is known for being a solo artist and for being a member of Citizens Arrest and Chisel. He is a songwriter, a musician who has had a career spanning over 20 years. Aimee Mann is probably best known for her work with Til Tuesday. The monster success of the song "Voices Carry" is probably the biggest reason. The Richmond, Virginia born musician has spent the past 20 years as a solo artist. Her song "Save Me" earned nominations for an Academy Award and a Grammy. Aimee Mann has released eight solo albums.
Nick Diamonds who is best known for his work with Islands opens the show. The Canadian artist has released ten albums as a solo artist, with Island, Mister Heavenly, The Unicorns, and Human Highway. The doors are scheduled to open at 8 PM for the show at Washington's famed nightclub.
