The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, located at 2655 South Park Ave. in Buffalo, is getting ready for spring – here’s how you can celebrate the season in March.
- Arcangel Gallery: Eileen Graetz and Jillian Kenyon – now through March 3rd, featuring two artists’ perspectives on the 2012 NIGHT LIGHTS at the Gardens event.
- Yoga at the Gardens – runs through May 1st (no class March 20th).
- Arcangel Gallery: Bloomin’ Art Show – March 9th through April 21st, featuring works from members of the Monday Morning Watercolor Class at the Gardens.
- Taste of Paradise – Friday, March 15th from 6 to 9 p.m. – a sneak peak of the Spring Flower Show featuring live music from Steel N’ Effexx, delicious food and drinks, raffles and more. Tickets are $25 for Garden members, $28 for non-members until March 6th ($30 after March 6th).
- LifeCycles – March 16th through April 17th – a collaborative exhibit between the UB School of Architecture and Planning and the Botanical Gardens.
- Spring Flower Show – March 16th through April 17th, including the Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th (11 a.m. – pre-registration required).
