The bonded beauties that nobody seems to want

Update 4/30/14: Boulder and Frida were adopted this week - together!!

Boulder and Frida are gorgeous, friendly and healthy - but they seem to be unwanted.

The gorgeous pair is extremely bonded to one another and the hope is that a home, or a rescue agency, can be found to take them both in.

The following information was shared about the pair:

They love each other so much. Both are so sweet, calm and well behaved. Boulder is extremely shut down & depressed from the shelter he doesn't want to move much therefore stood close to his handler and sister Frida the whole day.

He has flickers of tail wags and joy and he's unbelievably gentle and docile and loves his head to be held and kissed. He is good with kids, non-reactive to other dogs and very mellow. Boulder’s hazel eyes are stunning and his beige coat is perfectly soft and smooth. He is so deserving of love and you can tell from just by watching him that all he wants in his life is to know he's loved and to be with his sister Frida. He lights up like a Christmas tree when he's near her.

Frida is Boulder’s rock. Though she is a year younger than Boulder, he seems to lean on her for reassurance. Like Boulder, Frida is good with kids and non-reactive to other dogs.

Frida and Boulder were transferred to the West Los Angeles Animal Care and Control facility in Calif., in an effort to buy them more time - but they cannot stay there forever.
