Fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” are looking at a new way to find out more about their favorite soap opera. “The Bold and the Beautiful On Location” interactive opportunity allows viewers to see where some of the major scenes were filmed in the Los Angeles area to give an added bonus to an already popular show. According to Soap Opera Network on Monday, the virtual tour offers 22 locations throughout Southern California, where the daytime soap has filmed some of its most memorable scenes.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” is the only daytime drama to consistently go on location. Setting up some amazing backdrops for the daytime show, many California landmarks and lesser-known, unique locations can now be part of the experience when fans watch the show. “The Bold and the Beautiful On Location,” will offer details on how each location fits into the show’s story, share fans their favorite places via social media, or map each location in order to plan their own visits to the Southern California area.
The show has taped on location at over 50 destinations around the area and some are actually pretty close to the CBS studios. Looking to make the characters live and breathe, the chance to really offer up surroundings where people use on a daily basis gives more validity to the show. It also sets the show apart as the idea is tough to manage but offers so many more benefits to the fans.
After getting requests from viewers, the show decided to put together a special interactive project for the fans to access at home. That way people coming to Los Angeles can plan their trip accordingly and have all the information at their fingertips.
