Ridge Forrester is heading back to Los Angeles this month. “The Bold and the Beautiful” has the first look of Thorsten Kaye as Ridge in a promos currently airing on the network. Ridge first airs on December 13th. The legacy character, originally played by Ronn Moss, was last seen on leaving for his honeymoon with then wife Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) only to stay in Paris when the couple once again called it quits. Ridge is in for a shock when he returns wanting to rekindle the romance only to find out that Brooke is having an affair with her sister Katie's (Heather Tom) husband Bill (Don Diamont). How does Ridge react to the news?
"...The news really stings him," said executive producer and head writer Brad Bell exclusively to TV Guide. "Ridge feels horrible for Katie, who is such a sweet, decent person who overcame so much — including a heart transplant. He can't believe Brooke would do this to her own little sister. Ridge is going to be thrust in the middle of these two women and Bill Spencer. It'll be a great foursome."
Kaye’s move to the popular soap comes after the end of the “All My Children” reboot that streamed on Hulu earlier this year. The Emmy nominated actor played casino mogul Zach Slater on the ABC production from 2004 to the end of its run and later reprised the role for the 43 episode Prospect Park production.
