The Blues Vultures will rock in the New Year in the Valley Grill Sports Bar at the Hollow Creek Golf Course in Middletown, Maryland. The show is sponsored by local classic rock radio station 106.9 who will be broadcasting live from the venue. There will also be a DJ downstairs spinning songs so people can dance on the dance floor. The $80 a person admission fee covers an open bar until midnight, a champagne toast, a buffet full of Hors d’ Ouervres, and a continental breakfast after midnight. Of course The Blues Vultures will be providing the rock and roll fireworks all night long.
The Blue Vultures are a blues based rock band fronted by Ronnie Younkins of Kix fame.Kix was a 80’s rock band signed to Atlantic Records. Ronnie plays guitar and sings for the Vultures. The rhythm section consists of drummer Aaron Isaacs and bassist Zak Mabie who also lend their vocals to the band. Guitarist and vocalist Rich Moxley completes the band.
Middletown is conveniently located between Frederick and Hagerstown, Maryland. The venue is an easy drive from suburban Baltimore or Washington. Tickets and information can be found on the Hollow Creek website. It should be a fun filled night of exciting blues based classic rock.
