This Thursday night kick your weekend off with some ear splitting heart rattling punk infused rock and roll music. Atlanta’s Bloodplums will be downstairs at Smith’s Olde Bar filling the intimate Atlanta Room with blistering guitars, thunderous beats and angry lyrics.
Assembled by Heavy Mojo member B-Dirty we see him move into a sound that is inspired by classic music from the Stooges, Bowie, Velvet Underground and Bad Brains. The Bloodplums music is vicious, possessing many qualities of old school punk, but it is more than just screaming and yelling. With a new record in the works the only way to expose yourself to their music is to catch the band live, which is where they thrive. High octane is the only way to describe the live shows as B-Dirty stalks the stage like a mad tiger as he belts out his personal words of wisdom.
Start your weekend off early and treat yourself to an early Christmas present with some kick ass tunes from The Bloodplums, the saviors of rock & roll. Oh yeah, be sure you bring your ear plugs because they are loud.
