“The Blacklist” is a new show with James Spader leading the cast with his wit, sarcasm, and brilliant performance as one of the 10 most wanted men by the FBI, who one day walks into the heavily guarded building and turns himself in to the dismay of many who have pursued him for years.
Raymond Reddington, -James Spader’s character-, then goes to make demands including but not limited to requesting a newly graduated agent Elizabeth Keene, -Megan Boone-, as the only person to whom he will speak.
The chase to save a girl’s life begins, along with the persecution of another internationally known killer, and while this is happening, we are introduced to Agent Keene’s husband, who by the end of the show turns out to be a spy.
This is one of the most intelligent and exhilarating shows ever on television, from the start it grasp our attention and captivated us with it’s plot made up of many twists and turns and characters which are far from being what they seem at first.
“The Blacklist” runs on NBC on Monday at 10 p.m. EDT.
