The Black Keys rock the Grammy's

The Black Keys showed up to the Grammy Awards and took a few home. They make rock and roll music proud. Rock music had been in a slump until the early 2000’s when they and The White Stripes showed up and saved us. These bands restored hope for rock and roll and have done nothing but continue to prove that they are the epitome of rock stardom, through and through.

Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys definitely deserve their Grammy Awards for this latest album, ‘El Camino.’ They won Best Rock Song for ‘Lonely Boy’ and then Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Album for their entire album as well as Auerbach winning an additional award for Producer of the Year for his work on Dr. John’s latest album. The Black Keys also joined Dr. John on stage last night at the Grammy’s for an amazing performance which is always fun. When they join forces, they fuse together and blow you away with their combined talents. Such a powerful connection between musical styles that shines bright before blowing you away. Here is a link to the performance.

It took the Grammy Awards quite some time to finally recognize The Black Keys since 2011 was the first year that they were nominated but now that they have, they love them as well as countless others. They rock, plain and simple. Rock music was re-vamped when they showed up for the party and it has stayed hard and loud thanks to them. They will win more Grammy’s with time and every one can not wait to see what they do next. They have taken the spotlight in rock and roll and they deserve it.
