The Billionaire Book Club

The Wall Street Journal reported this week that JP Morgan Private Bank has released its eleventh annual summer reading list.  Each year, the list is sent to JP Morgan's wealthiest clients. The reading list consists only of nonfiction titles and is selected from a pool of recommendations from JPM private bankers worldwide. This year, more than 450 books were submitted for consideration. The list has been so well received by JP Morgan's clients that they plan on putting together the first winter reading list later this year.

So, wanna read like a billionaire this summer? Here's the super-exclusive (and oddly eclectic) list:

  1. ON THE BRINK: INSIDE THE RACE TO STOP THE COLLAPSE OF THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM by Henry Paulsen
  2. Life Is What You Make It: Find Your Own Path to Fulfillment by Peter Buffett
  3. The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That Is Connecting the World by David Kirkpatrick
  4. Written in Water: Messages of Hope for Earth's Most Precious Resource by Irena Salina
  5. Mark Twain: Man in White: The Grand Adventure of His Final Years by Michael Sheldon
  6. BlackBerry: The Inside Story of Research in Motion by Rod McQueen
