“The Biggest Loser” is going strong for the 14th season. Trainers Dolvett Quince, Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels appeared on the Jan. 11 episode of “The Dr. Oz Show.” The trainers shared their favorite foods, cheats and splurges with Dr. Oz.
Dolvett joked that his favorite treat is a protein shake before admitting that he has a sweet tooth. Jillian was shocked with Quince said his top indulgence is strawberry shortcake, closely followed by carrot cake.
Michaels said she doesn’t partake in alcohol often, but hanging out with Harper has pulled her into enjoying an occasional glass of wine. In addition to alcohol, Bob said he loves chips and dips. Bob shared that he recently had a hard time breaking away from the samples of chips and artichoke dip at Whole Foods.
Each trainer shared their favorite food they always have on hand. Quince is a big fan of almond milk. Harper indulges in dark chocolate with sea salt. Michaels gave up diet coke a few years ago and now stocks her fridge with sparkling water instead.
It was refreshing to hear that these no nonsense trainers still have to make an effort to make the best nutritional choices.
