“The Biggest Loser” has helped hundreds of contestants lose weight over the course of 14 seasons. Four of those former contestants shared weight loss tips with Dr. Oz on the Jan. 11 episode of “The Dr. Oz Show.”
Patrick, Tara, Olivia and Hannah all dropped massive pounds on the show and have kept it off. Patrick is even ten pounds lighter now than he was during his finale. Each former contestant offered their tips for losing weight and keeping it off.
Tara recently completed an Ironman triathlon in Hawaii. She wears a beaded bracelet to commemorate the Kona race. Tara calls it her goal bracelet. Anytime she wants to reach for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream she sees her bracelet and fights the through the urge.
Patrick travels around the country as a motivational speaker. He doesn’t depend on airport restaurants for his fuel. He carries around a black bag filled with protein shakes, almonds and baked sweet potato chips.
Sisters Hannah and Olivia recognize that they are addicted to food and not allowing themselves an occasional treat will lead to binges. They plan on this by pinning treats to their Pinterest boards all month long. They pick a splurge to share together once a month.
Dr. Oz praised the contestants for their strategies.
