For the last few years of the Biggest Loser, viewers were met with new trainers and new line ups that just did not seem to match up well. However with the new season and new day (The season premiere is January 6th on Xfinity channel 5), the Biggest Loser is bringing back the pain, Miss Jillian Michaels.
A season chalked full of surprises such as tackling teen/childhood obesity by having their first teenagers on the series, the show's largest contestant ever weighing at 444 pounds and one not so big surprise anymore, of the show's first openly gay contestant, this season seems to be shaping into the most highly emotion season yet.
What twists and turns will come from this new season? No one is sure of just yet. However with the date change and with the return of Jillian, one may be wondering if the show will survive a new date and how will Jillian's return effect Celebrity Trainer Dolvett Quince?
There is one contestant this examiner will be rooting for and that is Chicago's own Danielle Allen. Hailing from Wheeling, Allen is an Advertising Account Coordinator who at the age of 26 is more than 250 pounds. Can Danielle "Danni" Allen make it all the way to the finale? Can the show be effective with the addition of a teenage cast and will the show's heaviest contestant be able to stay on long enough to save his life? Find out these answers and more this Sunday night, 9/8 CST only on NBC.
